‘INNUENDO’ BY QUEEN

Since today we celebrate the 65th Anniversary of Farrokh Bulsara’s birthday aka Freddie Mercury I decided to share with you my favorite song/music video of Freddie with Queen, a band that defined my chilhood during my elementary/middle school years, maybe that’s why I love this song so much, when the album came out I was way into Queen and Pink Floyd so I have a strong feelings towards the today celebrated Freddie even when it’s been years since the last time I really listen to them.

Innuendo was the last Queen album with Freddie still in this world and for that it became my favorite so did the song with the same title taking the place once belonged to anthems such as Seven Seas of Rye or Stone Cold Crazy. What I love the most about the song -and the whole album- is Freddie’s perfomance and the dialogue in the middle section between Brian’s guitar and Roger’s drum sounding like a flamenco song but with the rock & roll attitude characteristic of Queen, not to mention the rad cirque vibe of it, very gypsy just like their music. A great voice and performer is remembered, missed and loved, a great human being that entertained us for decades, including the last two without him. Enjoy.
